Miss Anntonia Porsild from Thailand’s response, however, took a different and inspiring turn. She named Malala Yousafzai as the woman she would choose to spend a year living in her shoes. The most unexpected and thought-provoking answer came from Miss Sheynnis Palacios from Nicaragua. In a nod to women’s empowerment and the roots of feminism, she chose Mary Wollstonecraft as the woman whose shoes she would step into for a year.
